BNI Terriers are getting ready to take part in the Kirklees 10K on Saturday 12th May to raise funds for Huddersfield Community Trust to help buy a new minibus to support accessible transport to help as many people
With just under a month to go until the race, the nine-strong team are already heavily training. BNI Terriers members Charles Coombs, Jonathan Dawson, John Polly, Neil Grimshaw, Rob Hall, Alex Bairstow, Erica Maybury, Dave Neville, Russel Goldthorpe and Andy Burnell are all taking part in the charity fundraiser.
John Polley of John Polley Brand Communications commented: “HCT is a key part of the Huddersfield sporting community and helps people of all ages and abilities – so it’s really exciting to be a part of this annual event and to be raising money to help such a worthy charity.”
Lisa Hewitt, CEO of Huddersfield Community Trust commented: “I’m privileged to have such a generous and dedicated bunch of people that are taking on a great challenge to raise money for the Trust. The money raised will go towards a new minibus – we’ve been in need of a new bus for a while now and many of our programmes rely heavily on being able to provide transport for young people. I’d like to thank the BNI team for taking part and supporting our charity, it means more than they know.”
