As you are aware to the nature of recent developments on the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19) and the subsequent confirmed cases in the UK.
At The Zone and Huddersfield Giants Community Trust, there’s currently no cause for concern and we have introduced special cleaning measures to prevent the spread of germs and viruses. As we take the health and safety of our members and staff very seriously, in addition, we’d like to share guidance from Public Health England on steps you should be taking to prevent the spread of infection.

Can we kindly request that you and your children follow these general principles to prevent spreading any respiratory virus:
• Wash your hands often – with soap and water, or an alcohol-based sanitiser.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
• When cough or sneeze please use a tissue, and then throw the tissue in a bin and wash your hands.

If you have cold or flu symptoms, stay at home until you are fully recovered.

If you’re worried about your symptoms, please call NHS 111 – don’t go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment.

Within the past 14 days and you have any of the following symptoms below,
