Giants Competitive Cheerleaders celebrated further success at regional Future Cheer’s Circus Spectacular this weekend at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
The treacherous weather conditions may have caused panic and pandemonium throughout Huddersfield over the back end of last week but the twenty-two strong squad all made it to Sheffield for the two-day long competition.
Their hard-hitting six-month training sessions were put to the test in their respective divisions and we are pleased to announce that the results are as follows:

Elated Head Coach Robyn Evans commented, “I just want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of my amazing athletes for their hard work and dedication this weekend. You have a winner’s attitude and your passion for the sport never fails to amaze me! I am unbelievably proud of the team we are becoming. A huge thank you also goes to the parents who attended over the weekend, your commitment to the squad is second to none and one we value.”
The squad are now taking their training to the next level in order to get their routines in shape for the Legacy Nationals being held at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July.
To share your congratulations with the team, our Huddersfield Giants Cheer and Gymnast squads are all attending St Patricks Day Parade held around Huddersfield Town Centre on Sunday 11th March. The comp squad will also be parading at the next home game at half time on Thursday 15th March.
