Giants Women’s achieved a successful campaign in Super League 2021, winning the Shield Trophy in their debut season.
The 2022 season is an exciting year ahead for the Giants Women with another season in the top flight and the delayed Rugby League World Cup taking place in the latter stages of the year. Women’s Rugby is growing from strength to strength and these competitions are a great opportunity for players to impress and develop their game.
The trial date will be taking place on Saturday 20th November, at Laund Hill Sports Complex, HD3 3XF from 10am-12pm. Open to girls/ women aged 16-17 and above who play the game.
James Westerby, Head of Women and Girls comments: “We want to build on the success and development of our debut season in the Betfred Super League. Opening up this trial date offers players who would like to be part of the Giants Women the chance to impress and show their qualities. Whilst maintaining the majority of our squad, we are always on the lookout to make the right additions to the squad for 2022”
