Huddersfield Community Trust are deeply saddened to announce that long serving Trustee Roger Armitage passed away last month.
Roger joined the board of Trustees in 2008, prior to this he was working behind the scene to set the charity up. He will be dearly missed by all the staff at Huddersfield Community Trust, over the years he dedicated a large amount of his time and efforts into supporting the charity and helping to establish links and partners.
In particular Roger supported the team with many financial aspects due to his accounting background. He first started work as an Articled Clerk to a small firm of Chartered Accountants and after a few mergers became Senior Partner of Revell Ward, that firm became part of an International firm, Mazars, and he retired from there in 2003.
A funeral service will take place this Friday for close friends and family.
