Seasonal Summer vacancies now available

For summer 2021, HGCT is now recruiting for a variety of different roles to join the NCS team as a seasonal staff member.

Do you have a passion to impact the lives of young people aged 15-17? If so we have contracts available from 2-5 weeks over the summer. The roles are perfect for students, teachers or anyone looking to improve their skill-sets.

Team Leader

• 3 weeks
  • £1187 – Under 23
  • £1240 – Over 23
• 2 weeks
  • £586 – Under 23
  • £624 – Over 23

Do you have a passion to impact youth? Do you have the ability to manage 15 young people? Then this is the role for you. You need to have enthusiasm and willingness to get involved in activities and workshops.

Assistant Team Leader

• 3 weeks
  • £932 – Under 20
  • £1187 – Over 20
• 2 weeks
  • £460 – Under 20
  • £586 – Over 20

Do you have an interest in outdoor adventure? Would you like the opportunity to develop your skills and experience assisting a group of young people? Then this is the role for you.

*All roles are subject to minimum wage.

The waves, dates, locations and length of contracts

• Wave 1
  • A 3 week program with 1 week residential at Walesby Forest
  • 5/07/2021- 23/07/21
• Wave 2
  • A 3 week program with 1 week residential at Walesby Forest
  • 12/07/2021- 30/07/21
• Wave 3
  • A 2 week, 9am-5pm program  at Bradley Woods Scout Camp, Brighouse
  • 26/07/21- 06/08/21
• Wave 4
  • A 2 week, 9am-5pm program  at Bradley Woods Scout Camp, Brighouse
  • 02/08/21- 13/08/21

*Wave Leaders and Team Leaders will be required to have a First Aid qualification. Support is available.

*Successful candidates may choose to select multiple waves.

*Suitable candidates will be expected to attend mandatory training over 3 days, dates and venues TBC, likely to take place in Spring Bank Half Term.

*Expenses of food and accommodation will be covered by NCS Huddersfield Giants Community Trust
