Last week we welcomed Noah Bray from Holmfirth High to work with Giants Community Trust to support him during his 2-week placement. At Huddersfield Community Trust we are keen to support young people in everything we do, including those first footsteps into the workplace. Want to know more about our rugby loving student?
We gave Noah some quick-fire questions and here is what he had to say:
Why did you choose to apply for a placement?
I really enjoy coaching and working with children.
What one thing do you want to learn from your placement?
I want to develop good communication skills and learn how to plan a coaching session.
What does your average day look like at HCT?
Most days I travel to primary schools with coaches assisting them in teaching the kids rugby league.
Who inspires you?
I am self-motivated.
If you could travel to anywhere in the world where would you go?
Australia.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I jumped inside a wheelie bin and got pushed down a hill!
What would be your ultimate dream job?
Professional rugby player
What is your favourite sport?
Rugby
