A huge thanks to all those that attended our MacMillan Coffee Morning on Friday. Over £200 was raised and A LOT of cake was eaten!
Our guest judge from Total Foods, who enlisted the help of local marketing agency KC Communications, had an extremely tough time judging the staff bake off. He commented that all the cakes were delicious and that it was a difficult choice between the classic Victoria Sponge and the tempting Cherry Chocolate Cake. After much hard deliberation the Cherry Chocolate Cake was voted the star bake of the day. Bravo!
Amongst all this, local suppliers set up their stalls so everyone could enjoy a bit of shopping! From cards and gifts to beauty products, there were plenty of tempting treats.
So a big well done to everyone who took part in the bake off and who helped make the day a success!
