Giants Community Trust Evolution Pathway Programme
The player development programme is committed to supporting and nurturing young players to reach their potential. The programme is linked to the RFL’s Lions Development programme.
Over the course of the year, Giants Community Trust will deliver 8 sets of player development sessions tailored to the respective relevant age groups. With high quality coaching, following inline with the Huddersfield Giants pathways, sessions will be delivered in north and south Kirklees to reach as many players as possible.
The open access training sessions will focus on key skill sets which will help complement and benefit opportunities at community club level and the grassroots game.
Delivered in the school holidays, this allows boys and girls in age groups to take part in relevant access sessions throughout the year.
The venues that sessions will take place are; Laund Hill Community Complex, HD3 3XF and Dewsbury Moor ARLFC, WF13 3NU.
To support the delivery costs, all sessions consists of a £5 fee.
