The Giants Community Trust Evolution Pathway Programme
The 2025 Rugby development programme, supporting and nurturing players aged 12-16 to help reach their potential, linked to the RFL’s Lions Development programme.
Over the course of the year, Giants Community Trust will deliver 8 sets of player development sessions tailored to the relevant age groups into the local community, working at local ambassador clubs in north and south Kirklees to reach as many players as possible.
All open access sessions are coached in line with the Huddersfield Giants pathways, providing outstanding coaching within a professional environment. The sessions aim to support players development, focusing on key skill sets which will benefit your local grassroot and community clubs.
Delivered within all the school holidays this allows boys and girls in age groups to take part in relevant access sessions throughout the year.
The community club venues we will be delivering sessions at, are; Dewsbury Moor, Lindley Swifts, Newsome Panthers and Elland RLFC.

CPD Opportunities
As part of the programme, the Trust provides Coaching CPD opportunities – this can help you upskill and practice ideas, transition through different age groups, increase your coaching network and invest in opportunities to work inline with the Giants pathways.
