Bray Interiors support Girls U16 Pathway programme in a two year partnership
We are delighted to announce Bray Interiors have committed to support the Huddersfield Giants U16 girls squad and the new pathway programme.
The U16’s pathway is another progressive stage of development that follows from the U19’s women and Women’s Super League Team. The pathway has an emphasis on club growth with the journey into the professional environment now from ages 15 & 16.
Created by Giants Community Trust, the official charity of Huddersfield Giants – the initial start up began in late 2023 where 80 players attended the initial trials. With a set squad to be reached further trials were required to reach an eventual selected squad of 25.
The support from Bray Interiors provides a stable environment for the players to excel as they continue their journey in Rugby League. Their business logo is proudly displayed on the front of all the players shirts.
Through the academy – players train at Laund Hill Sports Complex, where they follow the Giants Women pathway structures. Sessions are led by Giants Women U19 Head Coach, Jacob Holmes, focus on developing players core skills through gameplay.
Lisa Darwin CEO of Huddersfield Giants Community Trust: “I’m delighted Dan from Bray Interiors has dedicated his interest and commitment to support the new U16 girls pathway. From early conversations we had, Dan has always been passionate to support the growth of the women’s game, especially in his hometown. We are thankful for his contribution to help create the environment for the girls to flourish.”
