About Us:
Huddersfield Giants Community Trust is the charitable arm of Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Club, dedicated to promoting sports and physical activity within our local community. As part of our mission, we engage people of all ages and backgrounds, helping them live healthier, more active lives through sport and recreation. Our programmes cater to a diverse range of participants, from early years to older adults, and include tailored initiatives for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) individuals. We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Sports Development Officer to join our team and help us continue to make a positive impact in the community.
Role Overview:
The Sports Development Officer will play a key role in delivering a wide range of multi-sport activities across our partner schools, within the local community, and for our SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality sports provision, promoting healthy lifestyles, and working with schools, community groups, and other partners to grow our outreach. This role involves delivering programmes for a diverse audience, including early years, children, young people, adults, and individuals with SEND. Additionally, you will be expected to perform duties in collaboration with the Rugby Football League (RFL).

Position Description:
The Huddersfield Giants U16 Scholarship Girls Programme, delivered through Huddersfield Giants Community Trust, is seeking a passionate and dedicated coach to support the development and coaching of young athletes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain coaching experience within a professional rugby league environment while contributing to the growth of future players.
As a coach, you will work alongside other coaching staff to deliver high-quality sessions, ensuring that each player has the opportunity to develop their skills, fitness, and understanding of the game.
