Huddersfield Giants Community Trust is delighted to bring back the Evolution Pathway Development Days after a years enforced break due to COVID-19
The pathway programme allows juniors aged between 10 and 16 to be coached in line with the Giants Scholarship, Academy, Women’s team and First team structures. The sessions will support the development of players as well as local community clubs and talent pool alongside the England Talent Pathway program.
Last year we had to curtail the events after the first group of sessions in February as the nation entered a national lockdown.
Looking forward we are excited to now have the RFL’s approval to begin our development days. Starting a little later in the year our first group of sessions start in May Half Term, with the location at Birchencliffe Sports & Social club.
With pathway days for both boys and girls, the structure follows in age groups to allow hundreds of players from across the region get the opportunity to receive outstanding Rugby League coaching within a professional club environment.
The success of the program over the past few years has been highlighted with players progressing to the Huddersfield Giants Scholarship and Development Academy programs.
For 2021 we have also expanded the programme where we have partnered with Bradford Bulls and Salford Red Devils in several home and away Tri-series development fixtures. This will give local junior players enrolled onto the programme a fantastic opportunity to represent Huddersfield Giants and show off their abilities in a more competitive environment. More details will follow while attending the program.

£30 for all 4 relevant age group sessions
