Women in Rugby League – Celebrating the Past, Inspiring the Future
‘Women in Rugby League’ celebrates and gives a platform to female pioneers who paved the way for the next generation of girls and women. The project uncovers and records the forgotten history, stories and memorabilia, in order to create a program of events, exhibitions and workshops to empower, educate and inspire others.
The project aims to not only raise the profile of the history of the women’s game but will celebrate the achievements of women involved in Rugby League and use the stories of rugby’s women pioneers to build a community for future generations.
