Huddersfield ESEA are delighted to announce Chris Cullimore as the new Head Coach for the Rugby League Category 3 Academy in partnership with Huddersfield Giants RLFC.
Chris has vast experience both playing and coaching Rugby League at an elite level. Alongside currently playing in the Kingstone Press Championship for Halifax RLFC, he works full-time for Huddersfield Giants Community Trust as a Community Development Officer and as a support Coach for the Giants U16’s Academy team.
One of the main objectives of the Academy is to develop a connectivity between the performance players and the development programme players and Chris will now be involved in coaching both within the Giants Academy and Category 3 Academy. This will allow him to replicate the training programmes and methods used by the Giants with the Category 3 Academy players. He will also liaise closely with all player performance staff at the Giants providing regular updates on the progress of the Category 3 Academy players.
