CoffeeSafe and Giants Community Trust celebrate seven-year partnership and £22,000 investment

CoffeeSafe has reached a significant community funding milestone, donating almost £22,000 to the Huddersfield Giants Community Trust over the past seven years to support vulnerable people across Kirklees.

The leading coffee industry safety regulator has contributed a total of £21,980 to the Trust since the partnership began, helping to fund programmes that improve health and wellbeing, tackle social isolation, support mental health, and create opportunities for individuals and families facing challenging circumstances.

The long-standing partnership highlights CoffeeSafe’s commitment to giving back to the local community and supporting the important work carried out by Huddersfield Giants Community Trust. Through it’s wide-ranging initiatives, the Trust provides children, families and vulnerable individuals with access to sporting and social opportunities that can make a lasting difference to their lives.

The relationship first developed following discussions around the Huddersfield Giants Women’s team and quickly grew into a broader partnership built on shared values and a mutual commitment to supporting local people.

CoffeeSafe’s funding has helped the Trust deliver summer sporting programmes for children and families, while also creating memorable festive experiences during the winter months for those who may otherwise miss out.

Lisa Darwin, CEO of Huddersfield Giants Community Trust:

“We are extremely grateful for the continued support from the team at CoffeeSafe. Long-term partnerships like this are invaluable and allow us to extend our reach within the community, supporting vulnerable individuals and helping to create positive outcomes for people who may otherwise struggle to access the support they need.”

CoffeeSafe’s ongoing support demonstrates the positive impact local businesses can have when they invest in community organisations and charitable initiatives. By backing the Trust’s work, the company has helped ensure that vulnerable people across Kirklees can access programmes that improve physical and mental wellbeing, remove isolation and build stronger connections.
