GIANTS CHEERLEADERS TRIUMPH AT LEGACY INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS ‘LIVE YOUR LEGACY’

Last weekend saw the Giants Competitive Cheerleaders travel to the iconic O2 Arena in London and take home a remarkable six trophies from six routines at Legacy’s International Championships, Live Your Legacy.

The team were put to the test in their respective divisions at the toughest competition of the season and came home with a clutch of trophies. We are pleased to announce that the results were as follows:

Team Performances

• Youth Level 1 Stunt Group, Silver – 3^rd
• Junior Level 2 Stunt Group, Bronze – 2^nd
• Senior Level 3 Stunt Group, Glitter – 5^th
• Senior Co-ed 4 Stunt Group, Titanium – 1^st and International Champions
• Junior Level 1 Team – Claret: 3^rd
• Senior Level 2 Team – Gold – 3^rd

An elated Head Coach Robyn Evans commented, “I am proud to have a team that give me everything they have each and every competition we attend. Both their individual efforts and teamwork inspire me to work even harder with the squad. As always, I’d also like to say a huge thank you to all our fabulous parents, you were all amazing supporters this weekend and thank you for travelling all the way to London to support us, we couldn’t do it without you.”

Parent Claire Heaton, and mother of Giants Cheerleader Lois praised the whole team: “Every single one of the team have worked so hard. There has been blood, sweat and many tears to get to where they did at the weekend.” Sarah Easby, mother of Nancy Easby added: “These young athletes and their coach Robyn Evans, have worked so hard, week in, week out, perfecting their skills. They are a very small team and held their own on an international stage at one of the most iconic arenas in the world!”
