Five squad places still available for the Women’s squad
After successful trials on the 13th and 27th January, Stead, along with assistants James Westerby and Ben Dawson, have put together the very first Huddersfield Giants women’s team which includes Emmi Manning, who represented the club at the Betfred Super League launch earlier this month.
The Head Coach is still looking to refine the squad ahead of the new season and five spots are available – anybody interested is asked to email Steve Stead on steve.stead@huddersfieldcommunitytrust.co.uk .
The Club is a community team, run by volunteers, and players are dual registered, so they can still play for their community club.
The club are also urging the public to fill in the following roles:
– Physiotherapist / First aider
– Strength and conditioning coach
– Assistant coach
– Team manager
– Female matchday assistant
– Videographer
