In partnership with Huddersfield Giants RLFC we can confirm our next Open Evening will take place on Wednesday 9th May 2018, 6pm – 8pm.
The Rugby League Development programme provides an additional phase in the Huddersfield Giants performance pathway and offers school leavers the opportunity to represent Huddersfield Giants Category 3 Academy alongside a first-class Education in the sport. The scholars will represent Huddersfield Giants in College Rugby League and will benefit from an elite player development programme consisting of weekly training sessions, strength and conditioning and competitive fixtures, all under the leadership of highly qualified Rugby League coaches. The 2-year qualification is the equivalent to 3 A Levels.
The Open Evening will consist of an informal presentation providing full details of the programme and a Rugby League taster training session 7-8pm delivered by U19’s Head Coach, Luke Robinson and Category 3 Academy Coach, Chris Cullimore.
On the evening we will have special guests in attendance including Huddersfield Giants Club Ambassador Eorl Crabtree and Player Performance & Education Manager, Steve Hardisty.
