Huddersfield Giants Community Trust supporting vulnerable neighbours and families through Covid-19 with Holme Valley Covid Mutual Aid

  • Pandemic forced The Zone to close
  • Confectioneries available to help the vulnerable
  • HGCT Partnering with HVCMA

HGCT home, The Zone has had to close temporarily due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The Zone is an indoor facility with a large play structure, 3G sports pitches, cafe area and much more.

We are a non-profit organisation engaging with people, improving community cohesion, fitness and well-being and raise the hopes and aspirations of the people of Kirklees and wider.

Due to the temporary closure of The Zone there has been confectioneries, drinks and more in stock. So we have worked closely with Holme Valley Covid Mutual Aid where we have donated food parcels for vulnerable people in the Holme Valley. The food parcels will be distributed from ‘The Full Life Church’ in Thongsbridge to the families and individuals in need.

We are proud to help support the local community through these difficult times and to work more closely with HVMA in the future.
