On 15th June 2017 the Huddersfield Town Futsal Scholars will head to Birmingham for the EFL Trust Futsal Cup Finals. To reach this stage is an outstanding achievement in itself and the team will be looking to progress even further and qualify from their group.
Town will be joined by Grimsby Town, Southampton and Peterborough United in Group B.
The top 2 teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals to be played later on the same day.
Head Coach Mark Tinker commented: “I am absolutely delighted that we have made the last 8 teams nationally to qualify for the final stage of the competition in Birmingham. The players deserve to be in this position, they have prepared well, worked hard all year and we are all looking forward to what should be an extremely competitive day against strong opposition. We are proud of what the players have achieved so far and will aim to build on our recent good form in the finals on Thursday.”
