Huddersfield Giants Women now join the Betfred Womens Super League
After meeting the necessary on-field standards and finishing in the top 4 of the women’s championship the staff and players are delighted to have the opportunity to test themselves at the highest level in the women’s game.
Now in the Super League, we are working towards building a Rugby league pathway in Huddersfield, Kirklees and surrounding areas.
The U’19s and women’s team are holding trials for the upcoming season starting on Sunday 1st December. You can book on HERE.
October Holiday Camp
October half term was brilliant! Our most participated camp since 2015 with an average increase of 5 children a day over the week, against last year. It was fantastic to see all the children learning new skills, improve in confidence, and showcase their talents! We were mightily impressed.

Rugby League Festival
A few weeks ago Huddersfield Giants Community Trust held a Rugby League Festival at The Zone, where over 100 children from Fixby, Lindley, Roberttown, Brockholes, Scholes and Hightown Schools showed off their skills in a tag rugby tournament. Huddersfield Giants ex pro, Eorl Crabtree even popped over to watch and have a chat with the youngsters and answer any questions!
CPD event for Ambassador Clubs
Huddersfield Giants Community Trust offered its first CPD event of 2019 for our local Ambassador Clubs. A major hit with the clubs in attendance, Underbank Rangers, Dewsbury Moor, Newsome Panthers, Birstall Victoria and Moldgreen. Siddal ARLFC were fantastic hosts and a huge thanks for your support from first team coaches Luke Robinson and Simon Woolford.
Flat Stan
HGCT and Flat Stan are delighted to be in partnership to help deliver First Aid workshops into Kirklees schools. We currently deliver over 182 hours of sport each week across Kirklees and surrounding areas, and with the aid of Flat Stan LTD the initiative can now contribute to offering even more to the young people of our local community.
